What age is Percy suitable for?
Percy is suitable for ages 0+. However, we ALWAYS recommend Percy is used under adult supervision and with common sense. Common sense includes but is not limited to: Never leaving Percy in a crib with a sleeping baby/toddler or placing Percy on a child that cannot lift Percy on their own.
Percy's intended use is for hugs and snuggles only. Percy should not be thrown at people, other objects, or in the air. This may limit Percy's durability.
How big is Percy?
Percy is 15 inches tall and 11 inches at his widest point.
How do I heat Percy?
Place dry, room temperature Percy on his back with all paws folded on top of his body, into a clean microwave.
Heat in 15 second bursts and check temperature.
Heat for no more than 90 seconds total. Longer warming times may cause outer fabric to ignite.
Beads may continue warming after being removed from microwave.
Only adults should heat Percy.
How do I clean Percy?
Spot clean Percy with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap. Allow to dry completely before use.
How do I cool Percy?
Place Percy in a clean ziplock bag. Pop him in the freezer until cold.
When will Percy be delivered?

Amy created For the Cubs after becoming a licensed foster parent. While learning about people needing an ideal 12 hugs a day, she designed Percy, the weighted plushie to mimic a hug. Percy was inspired by Amy’s late grandpa, who played a big role in her upbringing in the outback of Australia. Amy has poured her heart into thoughtfully curating safe, functional, and beautiful collections for eating, sleeping and soothing, with every order supporting kids in foster care through our nonprofit partner, One Simple Wish. She has cared for nine kids since becoming a foster parent. She lives in Austin, TX with her husband and two dogs.
