Percy care and use
How do I heat Percy?
- Place a completely dry Percy on his back in the microwave.
- Fold arms and legs on top of body.
- Heat for 15 seconds at a time. Check warmth before adding more time. Over heating may cause outer fabric to ignite or melt. Do not heat for more than 90 seconds total.
- Percy’s temperature may increase after removing from microwave; remove Percy carefully.
- Only adults should heat Percy. Never leave children unsupervised.
How do I cool Percy?
Place dry Percy into large, ziplock bag and place in freezer until cold.
How do I clean Percy?
Percy can be spot cleaned using mild detergent and warm water, as needed. Percy is not machine washable.
What ages is Percy suitable for?
Percy is rated for ages 0+, but common sense should always be in play.
That means, never place Percy on a child that cannot lift Percy on their own, never leave Percy in a crib with an infant, always provide adequate supervision of a child when Percy is in use, appropriate for the child's age or developmental stage.
Can Percy be used for regular play?
Percy has been designed for therapeutic use - hugs, sitting in laps, snuggles and gentle treatment.
Percy should not be thrown, tugged or played with, with any meaningful force.

Where is my order confirmation?
If you ordered directly through forthecubs.com you will be sent an order confirmation from us.
If you ordered on Facebook or Instagram, they will send you an order confirmation.
Where is my order?
You'll be sent a link in your shipping confirmation email to track your order. This will give you updates on where the order is in transit or if there has been a delay.
How long does it take to process an order?
We are a small, but mighty team at For the Cubs. Our goal is to process orders within 3 business days, however, we do our very best to fulfill most orders in 1 business day where ever possible.
Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Orders of $50 or more, pre tax will receive free USPS Ground Advantage shipping.
I need my order ASAP. Do you offer expedited shipping?
Yes! If you need your order quickly, simply select the expedited shipping option at check out. Extra charges will apply.
Why does it cost so much to ship Percy?
The shipping carrier determines the cost to ship Percy and all of the other products we have on the site. Shipping rates are calculated based on weight, size, the speed of delivery selected at check out and distance the order needs to travel from our head office.
If you'd like to get free shipping, spend $50+ pre tax, and free Ground Advantage shipping is on us!
Returns
What is your return policy?
Simply return the unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of when it was delivered. Shipping is on us and you'll get a full refund returned to your original payment method.
Unfortunately gift cards and final sale items cannot be returned.

How do I start a return?
Ready to return? Just reach out to us at percy@forthecubs.com to initiate the return process.
Once your return is approved, we'll promptly provide you with a return shipping label and simple instructions on how and where to send your package.
Please note that we are unable to accept any items that are sent back to us without initiating the return process via email to percy@forthecubs.com
