Does Penny come with a warranty?
Yes! With anything you order from For the Cubs, Penny comes with Percy's Promise: if you don't love Penny, just return your order for free within 30 days for a full refund. Read our full return policy here.
Why is Penny more expensive than Percy?
That's because Penny is handmade with GOTS Certified organic cotton fleece and velour, organic, hypoallergenic KAPOK fill and removable Solisand weights.
What age is Penny suitable for?
Penny is suitable for ages 3+. However, we ALWAYS recommend Percy is used under adult supervision and with common sense. Common sense includes but is not limited to: Never leaving Penny in a crib with a sleeping baby/toddler or placing Penny on a child that cannot lift Penny on their own.
Penny's intended use is for hugs and snuggles only. Penny should not be thrown at people, other objects, or in the air. This may limit Penny's durability.
Is Penny good for someone with allergies?
Yes, if they are ok with organic cotton, herbal dyes, unscented materials, Penny should be a great fit.
Can you use the Solisand Hot/Cold Therapy Weights on their own?
You sure can! Simply follow the heating or cooling instructions and apply the Solisand hot/cold therapy weight where ever you'd like the soothing comfort.
How big is Penny?
Penny is 15 inches tall and 10 inches at his widest point.
How do I heat Penny?
Place completely dry pouches flat on microwave turntable:
Heat for 60 seconds. Add 30 second increments for more heat. Do not exceed heating time of more than 2 minutes.
Note: Handle with care—pouches may be hot after max time. Do not place Percy in microwave.
Place pouches in Percy in the back zipper or use on their own for targeted warmth
How do I clean Penny?
Spot clean Penny with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap. Allow to dry completely before use.
How do I cool Penny?
Remove Solisand weights from Penny
Place in a Ziploc bag (with or without Penny)
Freeze for at least 1 hour or until desired coolness
Place back in Penny or use the weights on their own for targeted cooling relief
When will Penny be delivered?
